America’s National Independence Day celebration, A Capitol Fourth, has marked the nation’s birthday for over 40 years with an all-star salute and unforgettable performances.
For two consecutive years, I worked agency-side as both an editor and social media manager—producing year-round content, building pre-show promotional assets, and handling real-time 9x16 edits during the live broadcast to publish across all ACF social channels.
I edited feature segments including a Rosie the Riveter tribute and the official tune-in for host Alfonso Ribeiro, while also managing nearly $40K in paid social during the three-week show window. Across both years, my work drove consistent growth in social traffic, engagement, and followers, ensuring the show’s digital presence matched the scale of the televised event.
