Boating Safety Simplified

Boat Owners Association of The United States (BoatUS), the nation’s largest organization for recreational boaters, commissioned a series of videos in partnership with NOAA and the U.S. Coast Guard to educate members on boating safety off the Southern California coast.

As the editor, I shaped interviews with veteran commercial and recreational boaters into a series of engaging, easy-to-follow videos. This included creating full-length guides as well as shorter cutdowns and variations for online distribution. I managed pacing, sequencing, visual storytelling, and audio/visual enhancements to ensure each piece was both informative and accessible.

The videos were hosted on the BoatUS website as on-demand PSAs and educational guides, providing members with actionable safety information and reinforcing BoatUS’s role as a trusted authority in recreational boating.
